With our dedicated expert Oral Health Therapist (Joanne Lai), Glen Innes Dentist teaches you and your children how to maintain healthy teeth and gums with simple cleaning techniques that take just a moment each day. Besides Oral Hygiene treatment, Joanne looks after our High School Students 13 – 18yrs who fall under the DHB system.

|A key member of the team since 2014, Joanne graduated from Otago University in 2010 with dual qualifications of Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. Joanne gained her certificate of proficiency in Forensic Science and is a member of the Forensic Odontology Association. She is working towards becoming an Orofacial Myologist….this is the study of the muscular system specifically looking at treating children with Myofunction disorders.
Joanne is a valued member of our staff and highly regarded in her profession. She has the most outstanding chairside manner…. friendly, caring with great listening skills with all patients, so much so, we get a constant flow of positive feedback. She is gentle and thorough and puts ‘nervy’ patients at ease immediately. She speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, English and Malay…..she’s a smart cookie! J
